Lesson — How to Watch an Animal Without Bothering It
Lesson — A Keeper’s Welfare Round

Safari Bob's Academy

Recorded field lessons, virtual classrooms, vetted expert sessions, and — one day, behind six real verifications — welfare-first education in person. The lesson writing is finished. The filming, the venues and the insurance are not.

Virtual classroom schedule

Capacity, consent, and a real waiting list

Every virtual session has a hard capacity, a named-adult requirement and a consent record. Requesting a place in this prototype decrements the seat count so you can see the model behave — including what happens when a session fills.

Consent gate

A place cannot be requested until all three are ticked. This is the same consent record the whole umbrella uses.

No place requested

Tick the three consent statements, then request a place from the table. You will get a request summary — never a confirmed booking. Sessions are confirmed by a human, and no session exists yet to confirm.

In-person education · gated

Six verifications, none of them done

In-person education is the most valuable and most dangerous thing in this portfolio. It stays locked behind entity, location, permit, insurance, staff and accessibility verification. You can tick these rows to rehearse the gate; the state underneath does not change.

VerifiedVerificationWhat must be checkedAcceptance evidenceStatus
Entity Legal entity behind the session: registration, trading name, ultimate responsible person, safeguarding policy. Registration number verified against the public register; signed safeguarding policy on file Open
Location The actual site: address, access route, indoor wet-weather option, distance from the animals, escape routes. Site visit report with photographs, dated and signed by our own staff Open
Permit & licence Every licence the activity requires in that territory, including any animal-exhibition or keeping licence, with expiry dates. Copies of current licences plus confirmation from the issuing authority Open
Insurance Public liability at an agreed minimum, employer's liability, and cover that explicitly includes children and animal contact. Certificate of insurance naming the activity, checked directly with the insurer Open
Staff Named staff, background checks, first aid, animal-handling competence, ratios, and who has authority to stop a session. Background-check references verified; ratios and stop authority written into the agreement Open
Accessibility Step-free route, accessible toilet, seating, quiet space, sensory-friendly timing, hearing and visual support, and a plan for assistance dogs. Access audit by an independent assessor, published access statement Open
Prospective partner venues with Triple Lens badges
Prospective venueVerificationsCommercial termsTriple Lens
Venue A
terms unread
0 of 6 complete Creator’s share Not stated — NULL, because nobody has read a contract
Venue B
terms read, and bad
0 of 6 complete Creator’s share 0% — a real, documented zero; 5-year auto-renewing term; no audit right

Those two rows are the reason the Triple Lens exists. Venue A is unknown; Venue B is known and unacceptable. An engine that rendered both as “0%” would hide which of the two problems you actually have.

Request an in-person visit

Locked. All six verifications must be complete before any in-person request can be opened — and completing them here is a rehearsal only, because no partner entity, site, licence, insurer, staff record or access audit exists.

Who is Safari Bob?

A role, not a person we have signed

“Safari Bob” is the presenter role this academy is designed around: a field educator who narrates observation rather than performance. The name is a working name. No presenter has been cast, contracted, background-checked or paid, and the name itself has had no trademark search.

Vetted expert sessions are the same: the vetting standard is written, the experts are not engaged.

Production truth for this room

  • No lesson has been filmed. Every “recorded” lesson exists as the written outline and transcript you can read here, and nothing else.
  • No classroom has run. The schedule is a model of capacity and consent, not a timetable. The dates are relative windows, not offers.
  • No venue is verified. All six verification rows are unchecked and unevidenced.
  • No presenter or expert is engaged, background-checked or contracted.
  • Seat counts and request summaries live in this browser tab only, and a reload clears them. Nothing is written to your device.
